WABAG, together with Heavy Engineering Industries & Shipbuilding Co., has signed the contract for the Doha SWRO Stage II plant in Kuwait. It is designed for 60 MIGD, about 272 million litres a day, and will be delivered as a DBO project with 36 months of construction and five years of operation. The client is the ministry MEWRE, which awarded the contract in June 2026. The announcement does not state a contract value.
